sorry...

Scusate questo nuovo silenzio ma.... ero nella mia amata Inghilterra!
Mi sono concessa un weekend lungo a Liverpool, meta che da tempo mi incuriosiva, giusto in concomitanza con una fiera-mercato natalizio.
E una puntatina a Chester, di nuovo.... troppo bella questa città.
Non so, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più da Liverpool, considerando che è stata nominata Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO. Devo digerirla per bene....
Una cosa è certa e questo viaggio me lo ha confermato: nell'UK non sono tanto le grandi città che amo ma la tranquilla e pacifica vita di una piccola cittadina di campagna....

Sorry for this new long silence but... I was in my beloved England!
I have treated myself with a long weekend in Liverpool, a town that since a long time was making me curious... and just in time for the Liverpool Christmas Market!
And a quick break in Chester again: how I love this city!
I still don't know, I was expecting something more form Liverpool, considering that it has been nominated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I still have to "digest" it...
One thing is sure: what I love of England, well, Britain to be correct, is not the busy and large cities but the small, quiet country life....

Nutella!!

E' un po' che avevo in mente di pubblicare le ricette di questi due semplicissimi dolcetti e ne approfitto oggi, ora che inizia la stagione in cui abbiamo tutti voglia di coccolarci con qualche cosa di speciale ...
Io non sono una grandissima fan della Nutella, ma devo dire che in entrambe le versioni mi ha sorpreso....

Today I want to share with you a couple of recipes of very simple sweets. Now it's beginning the season in which we all want to give ourselves some special treatment... I hope Nutella will do!
I'm not such a Nutella-addicted but I have to admit it has surprised me in both cases.

NUTELLA & HAZELNUTS BROWNIES

(per 8-10 dolci delle dimensioni di 1 muffin)
Incorporare 2 uova a 225 g di Nutella in modo che l'impasto sia liscio. 
Aggiungere 140 g di farina, mescolare bene e riempire i pirottini per circa 2/3. 
Decorare con nocciole tritate grossolanamente e infornare per circa 15 minuti a 180°. Attenzione: estrarre dal forno quando sono ancora umidi!

(for 8-10 muffin-size sweets)
Work together 2 entire eggs with 225 g of Nutella until it is smooth.
Add 140 g of white flour, stir well and fill the muffin cases for 2/3. 
Decorate with some chopped hazelnuts and put them in the hot oven (180°) for about 15 minutes.
Attention! You have to extract them from the oven when they're still moist!

NUTELLA LITTLE CAKES
(Per circa 10 tortine diametro 10 cm)
Stendere la pasta frolla e tagliare con un bicchiere la forma rotonda. Imburrare lo stampo dei muffin e inserire i dischi in ciascun posto, sollevando i bordi. Bucherellare con la forchetta il fondo e ricoprire con un disco di carta da forno e fagioli secchi/riso.
Cuocere circa 10-12 minuti, estrarre carta e fagioli e lasciare in forno ancora 3 minuti.
Una volta raffreddate riempire con la Nutella usando una sac-a-poche. Decorare con nocciole intere.

(for approx. 10 10-cm-diameter cakes)
Put the pastry (buy it already prepared) in your desk and cut 10 round shapes using a glass. Put the circles inside the muffin pan  and lift the external part. Make some little holes in the bottom of each by using a fork, then cover them with a circle of oven-paper and some beans or rice in order not to make them rise when cooking.
Cook the cakes for about 10-12 minutes, remove paper and beans and put them again in the oven for other 3 minutes.
When cold, fill them with Nutella using a sac-a-poche and decorate with entire hazelnuts.

Another Jane Austen and....

Eccomi di nuovo. Non mi sono resa conto che sono passate 2 settimane dall'ultimo post!
Beh, ci sono state in mezzo la cena di Haloween del Gatto Arancione, la fine del corso con il quale spero di avere un po' più di basi per iniziare a lavorare per conto mio (vi racconterò...), una puntata all'Hobbyshow, dove ho fatto scorta di materiali ed idee... e due settimane in cui ho terminato una commissione e iniziato tante sciarpe!!

Here I am again... It's incredible, I hadn't noticed that 2 weeks have passed since my last post!
There has been (in between) the Orange Cat's Halloween Party, the end of a training course I was following with which I hope I'm going to have some more information to work on my own (I'll tell you about this), a quick rush to Hobbyshow, where I bought some new materials and I saw nice new ideas and... a couple of weeks in which I finished a big work I have been asked for and I started new scarves.


Nel frattempo, ecco un'altra Jane Austen, su richiesta, per una bimba. Tutta rosa, quindi, con pois e fiorellini delicati in bianco.

Io continuo a preferire quella con il vestito giallo....
