super easy summer centerpiece

Oggi un tutorial velocissimo per un velocissimo centrotavola estivo.
Una cosa che mi affascina sempre (anche se la maggior parte della gente ne è terrorizzata) è lo scorrere del tempo. Mi piace pensare ai piccoli fiori primaverili che sbocciano timidamente, al tripudio di colori in estate, agli alberi che si tingono di colori caldi e dorati in autunno mentre le foglie iniziano a cadere, fino alla neve  e alla gioia delle feste in inverno. E' questa dopotutto la vita.
E mi piace che la mia casa rifletta l'alternarsi delle stagioni.

Così ho preparato un piccolo velocissimo centrotavola, da usare anche all'ingresso o dove si preferisce, per celebrare l'estate.
E' un vaso ikea (socker), con all'interno un po' di oasis e infilati alcuni fiori (snartig, sempre ikea) nei colori rosso e blu, alcuni rami secchi attorcigliati (in vendita nei garden center) e poi decorato con piccoli ritagli di stoffa a formare fiocchetti e bandierine, un paio di pesci di legno piatti e una mollettina con coccinella.
Veloce no? Per coprire la base ho inserito un ritaglio di yuta.
Quando arriverà l'autunno sostituirò i fiori con alcuni dai colori più autunnali, metterò qualche fiocchetto sull'arancio ma la struttura resterà sempre quella.
Veloece ed economico, rallegra la casa, permette di usare dei ritaglini e si evolve con il tempo.

Today a very fast tutorial to create a very fast summer centerpiece.
One of the things that fascinates me (though people are always afraid of) is the passing of time. I like to think of the sweet spring flowers that bloom quietly, of the explosion of the summer colours, of the trees in autumn, that take all the warm and golden shades, and of the winter snow and the joy of the holidays. After all this is life.
And I like that my home reflects this changing of the seasons.

So I prepared a small easy centerpiece, that can also be used in the hall or wherever you like to celebrate summer.
It's an ikea vase (socker), with some flowers (snartig, also from ikea) in blue and red, some contorted twigs (you can buy them in garden or craft centers) and I then decorated it with some small flags and fabric ribbons, a couple of wooden flat fishes and a pin with a ladybug. Fast, isn't it?
To cover the base I used a piece of burlap.
When autumn comes, I will change the flowers with some with more appropriate colours, I will add orange ribbons but the structure will always be the same.
It's fast, easy, very cheap, it allows to re-use some fabric scraps and it changes together with the seasons.
